I mainly posted this for the shout-out to the Skin Horse from the Velveteen Rabbit, but I remember giving my stuffed animals a funeral when I thought they had gotten too old. I “buried” them behind the dresser in my room until my mom noticed and exhumed them. Which just means that I had a way healthier understanding of death at 6 then I do know.
